Powerful Cordless Mower - Greenworks 60v Pro
I purchased this mower as a wanted a light weight self-propelled mower. I was a little hesitant as I read battery powered mowers have short run times and are underpowered compared to gas mowers. This mower is easy to use. It is as powerful as a gas mower and cut quality is great. It has dual battery ports and once the first battery runs out the second battery kicks in automatically, There is no need to stop to change batteries. The runtime of the mower depends on the size of battery that you use. The Greenworks 60v range has an option of two different batteries a 4.0ah and a 6.0ah battery. I get approximated 30 minutes runtime on the 4.0ah battery and 45minutes run time on the 6.0ah battery using self propulsion. I use a 6.0 ah battery and a 4.O Ah battery. I can therefore run this mower continuously for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Two 6.0ah batteries will allow this mower to run continuously for 1.5 hours with self propulsion. Two 4.0ah batteries will allow mower will run continuously for an hour with self propulsion. The 6.0ah battery takes 1 hour to fully charge from empty The 4.0ah battery takes 40minutes to fully charge from empty. If you run out of battery it is far quicker to charge a battery to 80% capacity then let it fully charge to use it again. It only takes 25 minutes to charge the 4.0 ah battery to 80 percent capacity It only takes 35 minutes to charge the 6.0ah battery to 80% capacity. The mower weighs approximately 29kg with no batteries. The 4.0ah battery weighs 1.9kg The 6.0ah battery weighs 2.1kg I am very pleased with this purchase.
