Tough as a lump of granite

I’ve just purchased one of these for a part time gardening business serving NDIS clients. Others have mentioned this but it’s true, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better value option for commercial use. It looks and feels completely bomb proof. Cut quality is immaculate. The fabric grass bag is actually better than a genuine Honda OEM because it breathes so well. This is crucial, especially if the grass is even slightly damp it will still catch - something that a genuine bag falls short on. Very impressed, it was $500 cheaper than a genuine HRU216 and in many ways it’s the better product.Ian K (7 Oct 2025, 18:39)

Belter

This Mower is a beaut. I only have it for domestic use but I see there are a few commercial users that rate them highly too. It is tough and reliable and after 5-6 years of use it runs and looks like new (some paint flaking here and there but that's TBE).Hugh (18 Sep 2024, 09:09)

Awesome mowers

I run two of these in my mowing business. They are absolutely fantastic machines and best bang for buck around. As they are basically a Honda 216 knock off all the original Honda parts fit it. The gearbox in these are probably better than the one in the Honda 216 as I have never had to replace a gearbox in either of mine in the last 3 years. But many complain that with the Honda 216 that you will need to replace the gearbox in 1 or 2 years. At just $1299 the DMC is a good investment.Brett (29 Jun 2024, 19:34)

Best mower for the commercial user

I've tried everything. Genuine HRU216, Masport Contractor, Victa, etc. This knock-off outperforms all of them. Superb cut quality, excellent parts availability and is made of high-quality components (the alloy deck is built like a brick shithouse).
